Lastly, the location was perfect for me as it allowed me to experience real local life, away from the touristy areas. There were many good local restaurants and cafes within walking distance, and I was able to easily rent a motorcycle from the hotel to explore the city.

Only one small inconvenience during my stay - the hotel did not accept credit cards, despite the website stating otherwise. However, this was easily resolved by withdrawing cash from a nearby ATM.
